    Why does my XboxOne keep turning on by itself? My account was hacked and recovered.


    So a couple of weeks ago, I got an email saying my MS account was compromised by someone in Portugal. And I use this account on my Xbox One. Ever since resetting my account, I've noticed that my Xbox keeps turning on by itself. It has done that right before
    my eyes 2-3 times so far. Other times, I wake up in the morning and find it turned on. I come home from work and find it turned on. Maybe it used to do that before but it never caught my attention like now.

    Should I be worried? Xbox One uses a variant of Windows 10 after all and Windows systems are primary targets for hackers. Is there a possibility of them having gained access to other devices on my home network? How big of a risk am I looking at here?

    Ive owned this xbox one for almost.2 years and have never had this.issue until this.week. A few days.ago I noticed my xbox was on when I came.home. I turned it off no big deal. Over the.past 3 4 days it keeps turning itself on and running for.hours and.hours
    on end. I have no idea what is causing it ive tried the hard reset and unplug with no luck. It really became an issue about 30 mins ago when I shut my xbox down, left my tv on for about 3 mins and low and behold the xbox started itself up right before my very
    eyes, controller on the table Am I being hacked? Should I worry.about my credit card info you require me to.store on my xbox? This is obviously.a security risk as well as bad for my xbox. I dont imagine it should be running.for a few days say if I dont.come
    home. Its a safety hazard because you know as well as I do the xbox gets.hot. Oh..and Im sure youll reimburse me on my electric bill

    Why does my gamerpic keep changing?

    Doing the same thing, starting today. It shows random gamer pictures of Friends and Followers. I thought it was just me and perhaps my account was being hacked. At least I can rest easy know that isn't the case.

    Hi, can you check your guitar hero controller? the guide button may be being pressed constantly or the batteries could be going flat, take the batteries out of the guitar controller and see if the issue persists.

    Wow, i've never heard of this. Have you tried the back of the wires? Possibly the wires may not be in properly. Or maybe your Xbox Controllers are slightly broken, Because if you press the "X" on the controller it turns it on. Maybe try looking at the wires
    or the controller?

    Took batteries out of everything controller related. Turn off at the console, light blinks about 3 times and then turns back on. I also just thought about the headphones I got. I use hdmi output but have to use an adapter that connects into the SD output
    for the Headphones. I am going to try to DC that adapter and see what happens.

    EggsBoxJuan suggestion worked for me, I was having the same problem, I laid my backpack over in the corner of my room, and it was on top of my rockband guitar controller and was pressing down on the power button, so you might want to check that (if you have
