    Why does my xbox update/download in kbps


    So I have a xbox that slightly over 2 years old now. Besides a few other glitches that require a restart i often see that my download speed is in kbps for games when it should be at 100 mbps.

    I've done the following:

    Restarted

    Restarted wifi

    Disconnected and reconnected

    Offline to online

    Also when I go to setting to see statistics of my wifi the stats are 97 mb download speed and 69 mb upload speed. Also in multi-player game it seems fine.

    If anyone knows why this is happening please let me know and thank you.

    Hello Someone_3205, Wi-fi connections are more subject to instabilities and lower transfer rates, ideally you connect your Xbox with a Category 6 network cable up and perform these tests.

    My xbox series s hasn't been able to update or download anything for 2 days now. It's unusable. Worked great the first 3 days I had it... what's going on?

    The download speed actually went up on my hotspot to 180 kbps vs like 5 or 0 kbps on my gateway. Idk what's going on

    Pitiful download speed.

    Yeah, no, my download can be completely slotted at times, running at the lowest 500 Kbps.

    Hey might not be relevant but if you are playing certain games while trying to download or update something it can really slow your download speed.

    I was playing Yakuza 0 while updating games and my speed dropped to kbps until I stopped playing that game.

    Might not help in this instance but useful to know

    My Xbox download speed is not doing as good as it used to.

    Im also having isues with my download speed. If it test conection it says around 10 mbps but if i actually update a game it is at 20 kbps. I have tried everything and nothing has worked. Any help?
