Why does my Xbox series x keeps on saying installation stopped when I'm installing doom...

- Cancel the installation
- Eject the disc.
- Press and hold your console's power button until it shuts down.
- Unplug all external storage from the console, and leave it like that.
- Unplug your console's power cord for 5 minutes.
- Turn your console on.
- Insert the disc.
- Try installing the game on your console's internal storage, while your external storage is unplugged.

- Have you already tried installing the game while the console is offline? your console can be taken offline by going to Settings > General > Network Settings > Go offline.

- Alternatively, you could try installing the game from the Microsoft Store instead of the disc. Could you try looking the game up on the Microsoft Store and checking if it lets you download it using your disc's license?

yes, I do have external storage. I only had this problem with one other disk and I installed it offline but that was a while ago. I have tried installing Doom Eternal offline but it did not work. Also, I have tried installing the game from the Microsoft Store but it said I need to buy it.

My Forza 5 downloads then when reaches 20% it says installation stopped, not sure why and when I keep trying to re install it keeps doing it, please help

How do I fix the problem of installations being stopped for no reason. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Is this on PC or Xbox? Does the install permanently stop or does is restart when you click resume then stop again? On my One X, it took me 3 days to install a game from a disc as it kept stopping after 0.2-2% and I had to keep clicking resume.
