Why does my xbox randomly disconnect from my wifi?

So I had a power outage this morning and it lasted about 2 hours, and after that i played Fortnite for 3 more hours and got off everything was perfectly fine. But when I get back on hours later, it keeps disconnecting from my internet but it onlys happens for 3 seconds and it reconnects and yes I have restarted my modem, also I'm using ethernet and this is just getting annoying especially playing r6 ranked. It happened twice in one game and i restarted my modem and everything was fine. got off, ate dinner and got back on and its happening again.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

We may need to perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware. This will refresh the connection between your Xbox and your router.

Make sure to follow the waiting period as well.

" 1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state."
