Why does my Xbox One X no longer work after a recent update?

After the recent April update my XBOX ONE S is no longer displaying colors correctly for any HDR content.

Meanwhile I suggest for you to clear out the console's MAC address.

To clear the alternate MAC address(Network cache)on the Xbox One console follow these steps:

• Go to Settings
  
• Select Network > Network Settings
  
• Select the Advanced Settings
  
• Next choose the Alternate MAC Address
  
• Select clear and restart

My age is set correctly and has worked fine for years but recently after what seems like an update(?) has started saying I am not old so

1) Has there been a recent update to xbox one

2) Why has this just started
