Why does my Xbox One download always stop and never want to continue?

Something else. I never had to download my Xbox 360 profile when I first played an Xbox 360 game in my Xbox One. Why do I have to now. Also why does the downloading go well for a while and crash with an error near the end of the downloading? This Backward
Compatibility seems to be more trouble than it's worth when the games crash up and cause other problems. I might as well get my Xbox 360 back out if these problems continue.

Why does that service being down keep me from launching madden 18. It's already downloaded. I just want to continue my offline franchise.

What section does the system update stop at 13%? Download, Verification or Applying?

If its the Download section, and your network connection is good, a
Power cycle of the console should allow the update to continue.

Comparing the DRM to Steam is not a really smart thing to do. For 1, if I don't have an internet connection, Steam runs in offline mode allowing me to continue playing games I bought (excluding MMO's for obvious reasons), without having to reconnect to
the net. The Xbox One does not offer that. Except for 24 hours. Cause obviously everyone who made that decision has perfect internet services that never goes out or down for several days at a time. I've always supported Xbox over the other systems, but
until the Xbox One stops trying to emulate a PC and goes back to being a GAME CONSOLE, I as a gamer cannot support it any longer. Not turning my back on Xbox, I still play the original and love the 360 and will continue getting games/downloads for it. But
for next gen, *look away sadly*.

This does not address my problem of repeated attempts to charge my card for a service I don't want. I have been trying to deal with this for several weeks, and its always the same thing, canned answers that instruct you to do something that does not work.
I just want you to stop trying to charge my card. Why is that so hard to understand or do? Stop trying to extort more money out of me just for the privilege of cancelling.
