    Why does my Xbox freeze after installing a game?


    I have an Xbox One S and I downloaded a game yesterday. It was queued up for installation before I turned off the Xbox. Now, when I try to start anything, an error pops up saying the app was taking too long to start. A blue screen also shows when you select the game, which then fades to gray before showing the error. I'm mostly sure it's because of the game, but it could be something else

    I have had issues with my Xbox freezing after I finsih a Road to Superstar game on Madden 12 while it is installed on my hard drive. Not sure why though :/

    Does an update for the game pop before the screen goes black? I would clear your system's cache; and try playing the game. It sounds like there's an update trying to install, but I'm not sure why it's freezing. Have you tried installing the disc to your
    hard drive?
