Why does my xbox decide to update at the most inconvenient time?

It's possible that it may be a mandatory game update or that's how the game was designed to by the developers.

This is why Steam is the most success the company lets the community decide what goes through instead of a company...... Xbox interface does a terrible job at this and should use steam model....

I understand that you're having conflicts when a new minecraft update is released on PC but take a bit more than expected to be released on Xbox

Sorry for the inconveniences, right now I don't know why the developer (Mojang) decides to launch first the new update on PC

To avoid this problem in the future the best option is turn off automatic updates for the game on PC and as soon as the Xbox version receives an update, update the PC version as well.
