Why does my xbox crash?

I've had my xbox for about 10 months and its been doing this since the day I got it. I can't predict when its going to crash, it just happens. Sometimes it turns off the console, and sometimes it closes the game im playing. It's not over heating as i have
moved it many times (currently in a well ventilated spot.) this is really annoying because when im playing when friends and say we're raiding on destiny, game crashes, my fault we had to wipe. Please Help

Why does my wrist hurt?

Curious. I've never had achey wrists from playing the drums. I get an achey shin/ankle from the kick though.

The guitar is what kills my left wrist though. I know I sometimes notice that I'm really squeezing the buttons and the neck of the guitar and have to force myself to loosen off a bit.

Sorry to hear it. This is an annoying issue and one that should be addressed. If this has been happening since day one the console should probably have been replaced at the store. However, if the console is still 10 months old you should still have 2
months left on warranty.

But to start let's try to trace this down for you. Is it the whole console crashing or just the game?

Have you tried power cycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds until it shuts down to see if that helps?

Are you getting any type of error code when it crashes and, if so, what is it?

My game let's me play anywhere between 5-60 minutes before it crashes my Xbox one but no other game does that, how do I find out why it's crashing?

Hello Nathan, Is your console connected directly to an electrical outlet or is it connected to some kind of stabilizer with other equipment?

Is it in a well-ventilated place, do you mention that you've tried resets on it, have you tried a factory reset?

Something else. I never had to download my Xbox 360 profile when I first played an Xbox 360 game in my Xbox One. Why do I have to now. Also why does the downloading go well for a while and crash with an error near the end of the downloading? This Backward
Compatibility seems to be more trouble than it's worth when the games crash up and cause other problems. I might as well get my Xbox 360 back out if these problems continue.

• Do you get any error codes/messages when the game crashes?

• If this is mainly happening with GTA, it may be an issue with the game itself. To clarify, is your console also slow or unresponsive when you navigate the dashboard, guide, or settings menu?

• This happening while you play both online and offline means the problem might not be related to your network. Could you give this a try?

- Go to Settings > General > Network Settings, and select "Go offline".
- Try playing launching GTA while your console is offline.

• Do you, by any chance, have a different network you could momentarily connect your console to? Please note that even a phone's hotspot would work for testing purposes.
