    Why does my Xbox cancel downloads


    So I have started to download for a horizon 5, 6 times since it came out and every time I do I go away and come back and it’s not downloading and says it never was so I have to go to the store and start download again. Last night it was at 30% and I got on this morning and it’s gone and I have to start all over again and on my internet that’s is annoying because it will take me 48 hours of straight downloading to finish. Any suggestions

    Can't download games on xbox app on PC?

    Also if I try to cancel download it does not allow me too. Cancelling it closes the download temporarily but then it instantly resumes.

    XBox Series X didn't warn of limited space and wanted to redownload an entire game instead!

    as the xbox replaces files while they are downloading updates it does not have the ability to verify files if you stop or cancel, so if you cancel the update it renders the game useless and you have to re download the entire thing.

    I've got the same problem, and it's driving me nuts.

    Every time I try to cancel the 0% download on the install manager, it simply disappears until I go back to the game's page where it immediately reappears, because canceling the download does absolutely nothing. Neither does resetting the Xbox or Microsoft Store apps. Neither does reinstalling them.

    For some reason, it's just always queueing my download no matter what... to a tiny boot drive that doesn't even have the space to install it. So it's perpetually stuck on an error message saying it doesn't have the room to install, while not letting me cancel or change paths.

    But i want to cancel i dont have money to pay for this new month they are charging me for why does it not auto cancel when payment fails? I refuse to pay for it cause im not gonna use it and want to cancel my membership completely
