Why does my Xbox buzz while playing select games and buzz when installing games?

Hi whenever i play some games, my xbox buzzes, I have heard people saying that you need to install them but my xbox straight off buzzes whenever i do that. I can give examples which games are doing it. There are no problems with any of the games just the
fact that it buzzes.

I just wanted to know that if the buzzing sound whenever i install a physical game is normal.

Only does when ever i play a physical game no problems on digital tho

all games are fully installed and dont run of disc at all, if the game was installed off disc it will spin up for a little but to authenticate ownership, the buzzing will most likely be the hdd.

Hi,

It's difficult to know without hearing the sound but this could be just the sound of the disc spinning and loading information. Some games will load information from the disc during gameplay causing the buzzing sound. You will also get this when installing
games.

You're absolutely right. That's the problem with buzzing sounds. I had an Xbox 360 elite that had a continuing buzzing sound from the disc drive. However it could be a hard drive or even a fan. It's difficult to diagnose.
