Why does my Xbox app on my phone keep sending me to choose it account to sign in with

Does no one can't help another person like why don't you people help other people I do something help me answer my question I do something about it you guys are pointless if you guys don't help anyone.

I cant find an xbox companion app on my PC to sign out of do you mean the phone app? I cannot sign into the xbox with another account. It just keep automatically signing me into my account. I want to sign to xbox with my sons account so he can share my gamepass/games?

Apparently, two step verification is very finicky. Here is what I mean. When I log into my Microsoft account on my desktop, where I enter my password there is also an option that says other ways to sign in. I click that and choose use authentication app. I then verify my sign in and now my Xbox will ask me to verify my sign in with the authentication app. However, when I sign in to my Microsoft account with my iPhone, where I enter my password, there is an option that says, use authentication app and not other ways to sign in. So I click on use authentication app, and verify my sign in. Using this method makes my sign in with my Xbox skip verification. Why is this? BTW, when I use my iPhone to sign into my Microsoft account, I am using Safari.

Thankfully I have never been hacked on my account.

MS does put measures in place to prevent this from happening like:

Always make sure your security proofs are up to date.

Never give out your account information.

Turn on 2 step verification.

If you have a smart phone there is an app called the MS authenticator app this will send an alert to whichever smart phone you have it activated on if someone tries to sign into your account on a device that it has never been signed in on before.
