Why does my wired controller scroll fast

Is this an Xbox controller? Or are you using a wired controller from a third party brand?

In the meantime tell me, what console do you have?
And what did you tried so far to fix this
In that way I can advise you different things or how to proceed

When the problem appeared, you had the power A controller connected?

Would be great if you can test this with another controller
In that way we can know if it's an issue with your console itself or the controller

This fixed the problem temporarily then it went back after a few minutes

Other controllers are not affected at the moment and when i hook the wired one up to another xbox it dosen't now have the menu scroll problem bit still looks down in games and it's not like stick drift where you can still look up, it fights to look down when i try to look up, when this happened before it did have the scroll and the looking problem when I hooked it up to another xbox. Edit- it has now started to affect the controller that came with my xbox but it turns left

I see, you previously said that other controllers were affected.
Right now is still the same? Or only with this Power A controller?

And, if possible try connecting the controller to a different device (like a PC or another console) and verify if the same happens
