Why does my right number not work?

I have an Xbox Series Elite 2 controller, and my right bumper barely works. It makes the clicking noise and it works sometimes but 90% of the time it doesn’t. I’m not sure if something is disconnected or it’s not clean but it practically never works. It seems like it should work and nothing is lose, or stuck.

Just to let you know, due to privacy and security policies Microsoft support is not able to send password reset links.

Nos, you can recover your Microsoft account using the password reset link https://account.live.com/password/reset

You can try all the emails you remember or if you had a phone number attached to the account, you can use that too.
An account cannot be recovered with the gamertag alone, is not enough proof of ownership.

If the password reset link doesn't work you need to proceed with the account recovery form

Hey MICROSOFT!

This is absolute garbage, why can I not register a device? Why would you ask for the serial number but not leave enough room for someone to input the serial? Why does when I call support I once again have to put in a serial that DOES NOT WORK?

My controller is 4 months old and it is drifting.
