Why does my mouse not register?

When I have my mouse connected to my Xbox it works fine but when I try to press the left mouse button while the right mouse button is down it doesn’t register the left click, I’ve tried a mouse that I just bought and it has the same problem, but it works fine on my laptop. Any solutions for this?

If it's wireless then your best option is wired and basic mousrs

As more advance ones arenr supported

And only a few games support keyboard and mouse

Gaming mouse's aren't the best optiom

You gotta remember it's NOT A pc

Unfortunately it does not register the Mouse and Keyboard input for Xbox One.

Battlefield does have a toggle mouse setting in the controller tuning, I have it swithed on, but it doesnt affect the issue. All the buttons on the mouse (i have five) work but the movement of the mouse doesnt register in game. However as soon as I hit
escape or go into a menu the mouse works normally.

explains why it was stated the series x could detect them. Still incorrect though, input are still registered on the console, the xim formats the input from mouse and keyboard to simulate a controller. but to continue your argument, it still holds no ground. If the developers of games can detect it and push it forward IP-ban should happen. As it currently stands that does not seem to happen.
