    Why does my Minecraft tell me to unlock the full game?


    I went to download Minecraft bedrock on my pc and loaded in. I noticed it said "Unlock Full Game" I already own Minecraft on my Xbox and I don't want to have to buy it again. Is there any way to fix this issue?

    I’m sorry but the license of the game on Xbox console is different from the PC, which means that it you wanted to install and play it on your PC we may need to purchase the PC license of the game.

    Thank you, Farscape. I think this is what I did already. Both computers have Minecraft, but on my computer when I load the game it says I need to unlock the full game.

    And when I try to join their game to play, it tells me I need to buy Minecraft. That's what's throwing me off.

    I have only installed it from the Minecraft store. We were able to play together for about a week, then I go to log into the game and it's telling me I have to unlock the full game to multiplayer.
