    Why does my Minecraft Gift code not work on her account?


    I have my own account, theres an option to buy the game as a gift.
    I followed all the steps and paid in full.

    My friend has gotten the code, but when she tries to redeem it, it says the region isnt correct for her.

    We both live in Bonaire.
    I moved here from the Netherlands.

    We changed all her settings to region Bonaire, and then tried region The Netherlands.
    Both are not working. We even tried the safari settings to The Netherlands and still nothing.

    How do I solve this?
    Im not willing to spend more money on another gift code.

    Sorry Jess, the problem is clearly that it does not work like this, as I indicated if a code is redeemed in an account you can only use it from that account whether it is a game or a gift card for balance.

    If the funds were intended to be used in her daughter's account, she should have redeemed them in her account

    page to raise a support ticket and best to make contact with the Minecraft support team directly. They will be able to advise you on what to do regarding the redeeming of your codes.

    Did you buy a Microsoft gift card or actual Vbuck gift card?

    if you purchased a vbuck gift card you need to go to this link https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/vbuckscard you need to login to HER account because it supplies
    a code for ONLY a specific account that here vbuck gift card was redeemed on. Please log in to HER account and redeem the code. then you have the option to select which platform. select Xbox and you will be given another code specifically for the Xbox to redeem
    on her account.
