Why does my hard drive knock out the Wi-Fi on my Xbox One S

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.
Select Reset console.

Having the same network problem. I want my money back! My old Xbox one works great on Wi-Fi but my Xbox one S does not. Side by side the s starts lagging out.

Hi, did you have a USB hard drive or SSD connected to your console? There is a problem with USB 3.0 and the XBOX One X Wi-Fi. I had also had a Wi-Fi problem and that was my solution

I am playing Skyrim on my xbox one at home, with a wi fi connection to high speed internet. Very close (6 feet) to the router.

I do have 2 hard drives, the standard drive in the xbox one (500 gb) with 175 gb of free space, and an external hard drive with a few games on it. But Skyrim is on my internal hard drive.
