    Why does my elite 2 controller only work when i plug it in.


    I have an Elite 2 controller but the xbox button turns on and off. It'll be on for up to 5 seconds but none of the buttons work and it flashes really fast as if it connected but automatically disconected and it only works when i plug it into the xbox.

    Hi Lucas, thanks for your responding this happens on my Pc I just got a new Alienware with windows 11 I can plug ps5 controller and works perfectly but if I plug the Xbox Elite 2 it does not works

    My eliter Series 2 will not manually connect to PC.

    Thank you for the reply, when plugged in the controller does not show up in "xbox peripherals". It does not matter which USB port I use or what USB cable I use. If I plug in a razor wolverine controller that will show up in the peripherals but not my Elite series 2.

    Same result. It doesn’t work. I can plug in my regular controller and it works fine. It just doesn’t work on the elite 2 controller.

    This seems to be common with the bew bluetooth controllers i find turning restarting the console tends to help as dose plugging the controller in, atleast thats works for my elite 2
