Why does my audio bug out

I'm sorry you have this problem. Follow the instructions below for a solution.

If you have audio problems or no sound at all, check the following first:

TV audio is not muted and is at a reasonable volume
External or built-in TV speakers are working properly and turned on
If these conditions are met, try the following solutions to resolve the issue.

Solutions
Press the Xbox  button on your controller to open the guide.
Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Display & TV options.
Select Video Fidelity and Overscan.
Under Display, select HDMI.
Press the Xbox  button on your controller to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Volume & audio output.
Select the Audio Settings option in Advanced Options.
Highlight the audio setup option you want to use, then press the A button  to begin the audio test.

Note The audio settings options in this list will vary depending on the audio settings your console detects. The console will only display the options that are available for testing.

Watch the animations displayed while the test runs to determine if audio is not playing through a specific speaker in the settings, and troubleshoot the speaker if you notice playback errors.

If your Xbox console is connected to an audio and video receiver that is connected to your TV and you don't have sound, follow these steps:
Use the input button on the TV remote control to change the receiver's input source to something other than the console, and then switch back to the console's input source (for example, from HDMI1 to HDMI2 and then back to HDMI1).
Restart the audio and video receiver.

Set the TV connection to HDMI. Press the Xbox button  on your controller to open the guide, then select Profile & system > Settings > General > Display & TV options. Choose the Video Fidelity and Overscan option, and under Display, select HDMI.

If you have audio or video synchronization problems when using surround audio formats, consult the manufacturer of your TV, receiver, or sound bar for performance specifications.

Be sure to review the latest support documentation and release notes. Once you are sure that all devices are configured to the recommended specifications and that all necessary firmware updates have been installed, you can configure the audio to use eARC transfer mode on the audio device, if that device supports this mode, to fix any audio lag issues.

Found out why the trainer was so quiet - the audio settings were wrong in the setup (7.1 instead of stereo)! =)

Now just keep getting insufficient bandwidth error at the start of the work out - then it seems to run ok for a while then error again - I checked my ping and that nothing else is using the Internet so I'm not sure why it is doing this. Bug?

I have the same issue. My best guess is this is a bug related to the Digital Audio out and will hopefully be fixed sometime soon.

Every time the Kinect is moved or audio change it as to be recalibrated that's why you have to do it after a factory reset its not a bug.
