I wanted to return to Minecraft but when I opened the app the game didn't load in my custom classic skin, and instead showed a premade default skin.

I've tried multiple things; deleting and reinstalling the app, downloading the skin file multiple times, even trying to use a different file type, but none of those worked and always ended with "That is not a Minecraft skin, silly."

I'm pretty disappointed that I can't use a custom skin anymore.

I tried checking another phone that I had previously used and the skin was not there either.

I really want this issue fixed.

Android 14, latest version of Minecraft.
