Why does Minecraft not like me changing my skin

You seem to be having trouble using your Minecraft skin. Let me check if there's any way I can help you with this.

I'd want to ask a couple questions in the interim.

• Which Minecraft edition did you install?
  
• What gaming system are you using?
  

Here are some steps you can take in the interim to attempt and resolve the problem, and we'll base them on the error you're receiving.

Create a new Windows Profile

Create a local user or administrator account in Windows - Microsoft Support

If you have set the apps to be installed only with the current user, you may need to re-download the Minecraft Launcher again.

If issue continues,

Sign out from the Microsoft Store

Sign out from the Launcher

Restart you Device then Sign back in with the correct account

Disable anti-virus

Disable Anti-malware

Disable Performance enhancer apps

hi paul, it was yesterday we are playing minecraft and my friend want change their skin but is does not work and we don't know why... maybe u can help evertimy when shes change to this skin it will automatically go to the standard alex skin

No the minecraft website does not show my account owning Java edition. I cannot change my skin or access my player name.

Yes when I try to change my skin in Minecraft Java my skin is stuck on the Alex skin but the same skin works for the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft . And I have tried using another skin but that too did not work .
