    Why does microsoft think it can keep churning out controllers with poorly designed analog sticks?

    Xbox one and Series S/X controllers have thumbsticks that fail after 3 months, EVERY TIME. The controller that came with my brand new xbox series s, that I bought in the spring, has the same problem. This is not because of mistreatment of the product, nor is it a case of a bad batch of potentiometers here or there. These sticks are designed to fail. The design is flimsy on purpose and it doesn't have to be made that way. Ask yourself why microsoft controllers only have a 3 month warrantee. Microsoft has already been hit with a class action lawsuit over this exact issue. And rightly so. Microsoft know's its a bad design, and instead of fixing it, they are trying to avoid taking responsibility.

    Fix your design Microsoft.

    The next time one of your controllers gets stick drift I will be writing my congressman.

    That's what I get which does not work when I'm trying to send back a dodgy controller with thumb stick broken.and no online help or option to call back or email.as I'm europe
    I have this exact problem now in the USA. Were you ever able to get the return label? I’ve tried 60 times but no success!

    Success! On your devices page, instead of clicking on your controller, go to the bottom right and click "get support".

    From there, access the virtual agent and type, "Unable to complete warranty service order". She won't understand. After a few unsuccessful queries, she'll ask if you would like to be called. Do it! I had someone call me in less than a minute, and they completed the warranty process for me over the phone! AND, they told me they would send me another new controller and I did not have to return my old one. Some kind of new program offered by Microsoft, but they will only do it once a year. Good luck!

    Aye yae YAE. Someone FINALLY notices it.

    I bought the Elite Series 2 in June. I then proceeded to use it from 100% charge, to 0%. Every. Day. Eventually, my left analog stick started acting up, and the sprint no longer worked. It went from sorta buggy to the point to where I can't even tolerate it. I play a lot of sprint-necessary games, and for my controller that I spent good money on to have a good time, it breaks in within 6 months. (June - November)

    Microsoft, please fix this. My warranty ran out this year and it's really irritating.
