    Why does microsoft make it extremely difficult for those who got their minecraft accounts...


    Before migration, you could prove ownership of a Minecraft account by providing the transaction ID to a Mojang employee, and that was more than enough. Now, the only way to prove ownership is by having an Xbox console and providing the Console ID. Why is it like that?

    No matter how much information you give, it’s not enough to prove ownership of the account unless you have an Xbox.


    Why does the single-use code email not even tell you it’s for logging into your account? Like seriously, how is anyone supposed to know what the code is for?
    change the title of the email to "Login code" or something like that and the scam will no longer work on 99% of people

    Microsoft, you gotta do better.

    You can try all the emails you remember or if you had a phone number attached to the account, you can use that too.

    Protect the content from someone who has paid for it? That's the kind of silly thinking that got unskippable anti-piracy ads put on DVDs, you know those anti-piracy ads the pirates didn't see.

    Why would I want to have it downloaded to use offline? What a good point, you know I just can't imagine a scenario like someone DDoSing Microsoft and making connecting to Live very difficult...oh wait!

    Microsoft has developer kits. You can't make games for any console without them.

    Ray Tracing is extremely resource intensive, and thst goes 10x more for a game like minecraft with so many surfaces and materials.

    Therefore making a stable, reliable build has likely ben very difficult.

    RT can. result in 90+% performance hits.
