Why does Microsoft allow cheaters to participate in MS Solitaire?

Microsoft have never condoned cheating. They certainly don't allow cheating on any of their games. If cheaters are using bots in the games, and you know who is doing it, then report them using the reporting feature. The enforcement team will then investigate and take the necessary action. Microsoft does, in fact, condone cheating because they have failed to deal with the use of bots. Of course I don’t know who is doing it as I don’t have access to account information. The link you sent is very complicated and I can’t get it to work. The options don’t include “use of bots” and none of them apply to this issue. As a brand ambassador, YOU should be contacting the enforcement team and get them to investigate and take the necessary action. It shouldn’t be up to me to have to do that. I am also annoyed that I paid for a subscription and the game is flawed because there are so many cheaters.

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue. Sorry to hear that you're having some issues with the MS Solitaire Collection. To address the Xbox account question, when you signed in with your Microsoft account to begin playing the game, this
allows you to save your progress in the game to the cloud. The Microsoft account automatically gives you an Xbox Live account, where your game data is saved. Your game play is free and it is not a requirement for you to participate in contests unless
you wish to. Regarding the ads that you're seeing in your games, advertisements help to keep the game free for use; however, there is an upgrade option to Premium that does keep the grand majority of them at bay. Whether or not you wish to upgrade
would be at your discretion.

Ever since my 8.1 update, the graphics in MS Solitaire are a mess. It appears like a serious driver error. I see a recommendation to roll back my driver. However, why would anyone want to roll to an earlier driver for Solitaire. Why can't Microsoft fix
their software to work with 8.1? The problems came with 8.1, roll back the 8.1 to 8.0 interface.

Also, my MS Mahjong quit working all together. It starts to load, the gif spins, but it never loads and goes back to the games screen. Again, this came with 8.1. Don't get me wrong, I love the updates 8.1, just the interface with the MS games. Haven't
been able to enjoy them for a month or so now.

By the way, in the message dated 11/27/2013 announcing there was an update to the MS Solitaire collection, there is a link to a Facebook group. The link does not work, says the group does not exist. Chickened out huh?

MS does deal with reported cheaters. The people making COD games intentionally allow their games to get this bad so people will be forced to buy new versions. Stop giving them your money, that's the only solution.
