    why cant i get on live my wife is sharing live with me and it says live is down but all my friends are online.

    Hello there, is there still an issue with the Xbox live is currently unavailable - social and gaming been having issues connecting to online games.

    Hey there

    There is a service alert for party chat at the moment thats the issue. but you should still be able too play. If you cant connect too xbox live at all some things too try

    Unplug the console and your router/modem from power

    Leave for 5 mins then plug the router/modem back in and wait for it too fully boot up a few minuites

    Plug the console back in and try connecting again

    If these dont help try testing your connection settings network and this should let you know whats happening
