why does forza horizon 5 keep crashing on my pc

Please run the system file checker (SFC) Scan.

Open Command Prompt as an administrator by typing cmd in the Windows search bar and selecting "Run as administrator."

Type sfc /scannow and press Enter. This will scan and repair any corrupted system files.

And then run the program compatibility troubleshooter. To do this please open Settings (Windows + I) and choose the Troubleshoot option.

Select "Other troubleshooters" and run the Program Compatibility Troubleshooter. Follow the prompts to apply recommended compatibility settings.

Next is to check for malware. Kindly run a full system scan using your preferred antivirus software to ensure that your system is not infected with malware.

Then update or reinstall the game. Please make sure that the game is updated to the latest version.

If the issue persists after performing the troubleshooting steps, kindly uninstall and then reinstall the game in order for the corrupted files will be deleted that'll make the game to work smoothly.

If that doesn’t work, and only as a last resource, you can try reinstalling Windows. But this is completely optional.

However, as a last possible solution, I can suggest you to create a new NTFS partition and reinstall the game there.
