Why Does Fortnite have over a 61GB update???

Updates differ in size depending on what files will be altered and replaced. Such information is never public, only what bugs may have been fixed

My friends say it was 20 only

Thanks Brad, it looks like Game Pass is just not ready to be an paid product. I can't realistically be expected to download a 61gb game again and again.

Fortnite will forever be a beta. Why do anything else when they’ve raked in over a billion dollars.

Even if you have done some of the steps below, please do them again, but in this order.

Uninstall the game, clear the local saved data, reset your console, and then reinstall the game.

After uninstalling the game, clear the local saved games.

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Storage.

On the Manage storage devices screen, select: Clear local saved games. This deletes games saved to your hard drive, but they'll still be saved to the cloud.

Then, reset the console:

Before you continue, make sure you've got the account sign-in information. You'll need it to log back into your console after the reset.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Select Reset and keep my games & apps.

Finally, reinstall the game.
