    Why does every game that I own stops the installation process?


    Every game I try to download stop installing and gives me : Check your internet connection and see had to stop installing. 0x87e00005 error code

    Now I have tried everything that I read on forums: reboot, unplug, reset, mac address, router restart, clear saved games etc. Nothing helped, so I have bought a new XBox, but still the same issue. Now I’m sitting on 2 Xbox Ones and can’t play a single game.

    Is PlayStation5 a better move from here, as it feels there is no fix, it’s just an endless loop.

    My Microsoft Solitaire Collection keeps crashing as well. I uninstall, then wait a bit and re-install, and it works until I stop playing and go on to something else or stop for the day. Then I have to do the same process every time. This doesn't happen
    with the other games I have, why this one?

    Hi Carissa, I’m Ryan.

    Does the download stop at the same point every time, and does the error only occur with FC 24? Have you tried installing the game offline? Refer to:

    Also, cancel the download and perform a hard reset by disconnecting the power cable for at least 10 seconds to completely reset the power supply, then try installing the game again.

    When sharing an Xbox, I can no longer own the new free Xbox gold games.

    Thats exactly the problem! Once we stop sharing I dont have access which is why I want to own the game for free as well and not just him. But i can't do that becuase the own the game for free option disapears and is replaced with an install the game instead.
    Ive checked my account so I know i dont actually already own it and he does.
