Why does cloud gaming sometimes just close the game

On which device are you playing with Cloud gaming?

I suggest that you check your internet connection speed. It's possible that your connection is the one causing the problem. I also suggest to switch to a different network. For wireless connectivity, it's recommended to use 5GHz network.

If you're on browser, make sure it's updated. Try to clear your browsing data and make sure your device's operating system is up-to-date. Then consider restaring your device as well.

This happens all the time when my girlfriend and I play. Especially if we're close to each other. So we sit on opposites end of the couch... Sometimes . Also the saved game situation is super annoying. I played just as much as her! Why does it just save
it all on hers

sometimes the drive just gives out it happens. If the drive does not work at all I would recommend getting another external drive or a hub . The games are on the cloud so in that insance it should be fine. When you look at the storage does it show the
games etc at all. Sometimes the light just burns out and it still works however this might not be the case.

Update:
I just installed an update for the XBox app. Now, when I press the 'Play' button on the popup for any given cloud game, that popup closes, and I'm simply dropped back to the main "Cloud Gaming" games list.

At least the button does something now, I guess.

When this happens please restart not only the console but the network hardware following this steps:

Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

Restart your Xbox console. Press and hold the Xbox button in the center of your Xbox controller to open the Power Center. Select Restart console and then select Restart. (If the console appears to be frozen, press and hold the Xbox button  on the console for 10 seconds, until the console turns off. After the console shuts down, touch the Xbox button on the console again to restart.)

After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.
