    Hello Xbox. I was trying to play Call of duty Modern Warfare Remastered the other day when out of nowhere the game started freezing every 5-10 seconds. I don't know what the issue is and I can't solve it. do you guys know what the problem is?

    I understand that you are experiencing freezing issues with your game Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered.

    I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

    Please perform a cache clear on your Xbox by holding the power button for 10 seconds to shut it down completely. Unplug the power cord, wait a few minutes, then plug it back in and restart. Do the same thing with your modem/router in order for your network to refresh.

    And make sure that both the game and your Xbox console are fully updated. Go to Settings > System > Updates to check for any pending updates.

    If the issue persist after performing the steps, uninstall and reinstall Modern Warfare Remastered to make sure that there are no corrupted files causing the issue.

    Hey Noble! While I can't swear to what may come in the future, for the time being, the Legacy Edition is the only way to obtain MWR. According to Activision's FAQ:

    "Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare Remastered is only available through the Legacy, Legacy Pro, and Digital Deluxe editions of Call of Duty®: Infinite Warfare."

    Can I play Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare Remastered without buying Call of Duty®: Infinite Warfare?

    "No, you must own Call of Duty®: Infinite Warfare in order to get Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare Remastered."

    Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but hopefully this answers your question. And who knows, maybe in the near future, they'll make it available separately! Seems like an odd revenue stream for them to close off permanently.
