    Why does Battlefield 4 Insist on Installing to Internal drive?


    Ever since I recently installed EA Access, to try it out (I've since uninstalled it), the couple of games I installed, went straight to the Internal drive.

    I have an external set up, and the majority of my games are on it, and it is set up to be the default disk for installs.

    There's tons of room still on it.

    After trying BF 4 through EA Access, I decided I wanted to purchase it. The game, with all the DLC for $30, good deal. But Access installed it to the internal drive, so i figured I'd uninstall it first, then uninstall Access, and THEN make the purchase,
    so the tons of gigs from the purchase would go where it's supposed to, the external drive.

    Nope. It installed to internal. And there are no options to "Move" it to the other drive. When you go into "manage" the game, the only option it gives you is "uninstall", which is stupid.

    Is it possible to get this game installed on the external drive? Is there something wrong with BF 4? or is something wrong with my xbox?

    Any help out there?

    None of my downloaded games will play

    we are trying to insert a game disc and just play it....why does it INSIST on installing the game? We just want our son to be able to play the games we bought him. Any advice? what are we missing?

    External Seagate 2TB Game Drive for Xbox 360 gets Device not allowed error

    Battlefield 4 cannot be installed and played on the Xbox 360 slim model's 4GB internal flash drive without an additional hard drive with a minimum of 2GB of space available. Hard drives are sold separately for the Xbox 360 slim, Arcade, and Core models
    but must be internal for this content to work.

    Hey there Devious!

    You will need to have a hard drive in order to be able to install Battlefield 4. The mandatory install cannot be installed to a USB drive or to the 4gb internal flash memory on an Xbox 360 console.

    A FLASH DRIVE WORKS FOR THE BATTLEFIELD 4 DOWNLOAD IF YOU DON HAVE HARD DRIVE?

    Actually, for Battlefield 4 you will need an official Xbox 360 HDD. USB flash drives and 4GB internal memory are not compatible for the mandatory install file.
