    Why does Batman Arkham City have ugly texture glitches on Xbox Series X?


    I purchased a bundle Return to Arkham that includes the whole trilogy but the second part (Arkham City, v1.4.0.0) seems to be buggy on the next-gen MS consoles while on the prev-gen there are no reports about such bugs as well as on PS5 that runs PS4 version of the game.

    Immediately say for those who will start telling about the developer's responsibility for that: Return to Arkham was released 2016, so contains games for Xbox One (!), not X|S remasters. With that said, it remains to conclude that MS has messed up with backward compatibility in this case.

    It would be a good idea to report this problem to the Xbox Team, given that it could be a problem with the game while loading textures. Let's report this bug.

    1. Install the Xbox Insider Bundle through the Microsoft Store.

    2. Once it is installed, open the Xbox Insider app and then close it.

    3. Then, open the game.

    4. Press and hold the Xbox button on your controller (like you are going to turn the console off), and on that screen, select Report a problem.

    5. Complete the Report.
