Why does astroneer take loads of time to load?

The game itself just takes a while to load

Astroneer takes at least 20 monutez to load in, why? Is it glitched? And, How do I fix it?

In some games where everything is generated procedurally, this is normal.

I recommend that you try to reinstall the game or clear the Xbox cache by holding the on / off button for 10 seconds until the light goes out, if none of these options work and the game remains slow it is probably because it is from the game or your console
may be too dirty.

You could try re installing it or go to microsoft support or do a hard xbox reset by holding your xbox home button for 10 seconds

Astroner took awhile for me to load the first time I played it. The game would go to a black screen and sit. Reinstalling fixed the problem. I remember the game was slow loading but twenty minutes is too long. Subnautica is the longest loading game
I have ever played and it takes about three minutes to load. Have you hard resetted your console to see if that will help as well?

Some games like this simply take a while to load, if reinstalling doesn't fix then it's just a game that takes a while.
