Why do YouTube's users get to play games before the game is released?

They usually have a deal to get paid for reviewing the game.

You do know the thing that the XB1 has right?? the ability to start playing while it is downloading... why would we need to DL it a day before?

People get legit copies of big titles early all the time, it's not a rare occurence. The release of MW3 had people, especially big youtubers, playing the game a week or two before it was released.

Release dates? Ever heard of them? You don't go to the cinema and expect to see the new Jurassic Park movie 5 days before the preview screenings and a week before the world release, even though it's a "legitimate" cinema, do you?

So why should if be any different for games? If the majority won't get the game until Tuesday when it is OFFICIALLY RELEASED, why should it be fair that other people who are not reviewers can play it a week in advance?

I swear some people on this forum don't live in the real world....
