Why do you like the Borderlands games?

First and foremost, I am truly happy that a lot of people love the Borderlands series and consider it (the Borderlands series) to be one of the many pinnacles of gaming

...........

As far as I'm concerned, the Borderlands series has earned a very special reward in my books. The Borderlands series now MY most hated and reviled game series ever, especially Borderlands 2! Aliens Colonial Marines probably wouldn't have won game of the
year, but at least it (Aliens Colonial Marines) wouldn't have been as messed up as it was if Gearbox actually cared about making Aliens Colonial Marines. I have not doubt that the money that Gearbox stole from Aliens Colonial Marines made Borderlands 2 the
epic game that it is today! Gearbox only cares about the games that it creates, they couldn't care any less about franchises that aren't Gearbox original intellectual properties! I hope that game publishers avoid Gearbox in hopes that they will make a good
game for them, because we all know what happends when Gearbox handles a game that isn't theirs. This non-Gearbox game will be garbage when it comes out!

On as side note, I am super mega ultra happy right now because I just bought Alladin and The Little Mermaid from the Microsoft Movies and TV

I'm watching The Little Mermaid right now

I love Microsoft Movies and TV

I got my Monster High movies from it too

So you hate a series of games that you've never played?

Do you hate films that you've never seen or books that you've never read?

There's a good chance that if Gearbox hadn't of stepped in then Aliens CM wouldn't of been released at all,which probably would of been for the best to be honest.

I hate the Borderlands series because it used the game that I like (Aliens Colonial Marines) as a stepping stone to make itself better (Borderlands 2).

Borderlands 2 was funded by Aliens Colonial Marines.

Borderlands 2 was more important to make than Aliens Colonial Marines.

Borderlands 2 had ALL of Gearbox attention.

Aliens Colonial Marines was ignored.

Aliens Colonial Marines was a massive failure.

Borderlands 2 was a massive success.

Look at the care and passion that Gearbox made to make Borderlands 2.

Is there a difference with the care and passion of how Borderlands 2 and Aliens Colonial Marines were developed?

The last time that I checked, when a Publisher gives a game Developer money to make a game, the money that the Publisher gives the Developer is ONLY going to be used for that game.

........

Borderlands 2 used the money from Aliens Colonial Marines.

This " extra money " wouldn't have been available for Borderlands 2 if Sega hadn't given Gearbox the money to make Aliens Colonial Marines.

Gearbox should have cancled Aliens Colonial Marines because it was the right thing to do, but Gearbox didn't.

Gearbox knew that it didn't have the proper attention to give to Aliens Colonial Marines, yet they chose to relase the game anyway.

Aliens Colonial Marines would have been better off if Gearbox had cancled it.

Gearbox should have told Sega that they didn't have enough time to make a proper Aliens Colonial Marines game and gave the money back to Sega.

..........

Instead, Gearbox used the money for Aliens Colonial Marines to make Borderlands 2 and then released a poorly made game (Aliens Colonial Marines).

Sega should have kept that game inhouse, but they opted not to do so. So if there is anyone to blame for CM being a let down it's Sega and not any other developer/publisher.
