Why do you allow cheating?

how is it fair that we pay a monthly fee to pay online yet you do NOTHING to control cheaters?

I bought black ops when it went backward compatable and paid over 25 GBP yet EVERY game it completely ruined by cheats.

Under the map, invisibility, extra health, gas and mortar out constantly. ItaIt's really not fair.

It is also extremely poor that microsoft are allowing this. Also you would think that with the amount of brains that go behind making these games that there would be no weak points within the software for players to find and hack.

This has for be so frustrated that I am actualky trading my xbox in and going over to playstation.

is essentially what they get paid to do.

Secondly, Dai Ling Ping isn't his gamertag but one of the characters the person in question uses in his griefing videos.

Lastly, as Zen has said why on Earth did you revive a eight month old thread in order to act as a junior moderator? As a high ranked Ambassador you should know to just report and move on.

Hello JemJem1411.. I'm sorry that you are having this issue. I wouldn't go to the extent of saying that Microsoft is allowing cheating, because that is entirely false. What helps is to report the player and let the Xbox Moderators handle the process.. The
reason it appears that Microsoft is doing nothing is because there may be a few hundred to a thousand cases where players may be modding or cheating. We can prevent the problem from our end, but ultimately it is also up to the developer of the particular game
to update their game in order to stop future security breaches, cheating, and modding. Reporting the player definitely helps but may take a little time considering on the work load of the Xbox Team. In my opinion, switching over to Playstation is a suggestion
I suppose, but do not be suprised when you encounter modding, and cheating there as well.

 

I feel you man, its a shame, ive had the exact same 90% of my games and it comes and goes on whether theres cheaters on. best thing to do is to report them in game and through xbox, xbox cant do anything if they arent reported. they will make a new account
but enough reports will block their ip and then they cant play at all. The ingame report will send it to the developer and they can help too but i dont think they regulate it much if at all anymore, sometimes feels like a lost cause because of that but the
xbox report isnst, you wont know if theyre banned but if enforcement look into it and see what you see, they will be. I do know playstation is way more stricter on literally everything, one swear is a day ban so if thats the sort of strength you want thats
your choice, but they dont have backwards compat or crossplay, so i wouldnt get the console just because of the one game.

This is more of a widespread across quite a few games.

I think the issue is that its far harder for the enforcement team to ban players for cheating due to needing evidence, Where as communications related enforcement are far easier to bee issued.

I do know that a lot of the games developers will accept video evidence of cheating so that they can directly ban a player, I did do this a few years back on world of tanks with a player that was purposely griefing and intentionally blocking team mates
to get them killed, It actually took them just 10 minutes to ban the player after receiving my recording of their gameplay.
