Why do the Xbox One Games for Gold suck so badly?

Games with Gold have to branch out and hit a wide variety of demographics. What you may like others may love.

So again, this is very simple... Download the game that you find interesting. Disregard the game you do not.

What do you want? The latest AAA Blockbuster each month?

Why do the xbox one Free gold games suck so bad compared to xbox 360?

keep giving me all these little kid games for xbox one and grown up games on xbox 360. its not fair.

and it takes days to download a game

and a game update takes a few hours or more

I have put all this money into this xbox one for nothing when the xbox 360 gets treated better by Microsoft.

Please put more into xbox one, hard to find any games for it. and why do I need to keep putting my game disc in when i have to download it anyway to first start it waste so many Hours/Days doing all this downloading.

 

Xbox One lacks basic features from Xbox 360

The Xbox gold membership sucks!! No one should have to pay after you have already paid so much for the game itself.

 

As others have already hit the nail on the head, if you really want Black Flag.... buy it. It can't be that much money these days.

 

You also have to realize the Xbox One is still a fairly new console. It's only been out over a year now, and there isn't a huge library out. Be patient and soon enough they will be bringing out much more.

 

I just have to say that I had a lot of fun with Strike Suit Zero and Child of Light. They might even be the only ones that I've bothered to play, but still that's better then not playing them at all because I really did like them.

I do wish black flag was on the Xbox One, but only because I would have people to do the multiplayer achievements with, hahaha.

the same games some soulless corporation churns out year after year, because you know, Triple A."

In reality, the Indie titles are some of the best games on the system, because they are innovative and fresh, instead of being the same cookie-cutter FPS we see over and over

 

How long before Goat Simulator is free with gold? Honestly I am fine with GWG. I wish new titles were being developed faster, but I realize it takes time. I try to buy a new game once a month, this month nothing new I want to play I can however look forward
to June and The Elder Scrolls Online

Child of Light is a good game, almost refreshing type of rpg. Great change of pace from our usual games.

 

I see May's GWG have not been announced yet. Usually MS would have made an announcement by now?

 

People have the right to voice their opinions. If you opinion is gwg sucks, it's your perrogative to say so. Don't let the likes of theowenkiller silence you. It's about free speech, this is a public forum, use it that way.

I certainly didn`t, i told him if he doesn`t like them don`t download them, very simple.

He has as much right to say he doesn`t like the free games as much as i have to say anyone complaining about free stuff sounds like a spoiled little brat.

 

Ugh. I'm tired of people botching up the meaning of "free speech". This is a public forum, but it is privately owned by MS. They withhold every right to restrict your speech here. They can ban you and forbid you to post if they see fit. Free speech
entails the government arresting you for your speech, this isn't happening here.

As for being critical of yet another "GwG sucks" thread, the regular posters are just annoyed and sick of seeing all of these threads consistently pop up. Some may agree that the games aren't the best, but after the 92,323rd thread in regards to it, it
gets a bit old.

Well, after the "92,323rd thread in regards to it", you'd think the 'regulars' would learn to let these threads pass them by. figuratively speaking, it's these very people who are obviously giving these type of threads they claim to detest, the oxygen they
need to keep going. Not the op fault that some people are incapable of ignoring threads that for some bizarre reason send them into meltdown mode.

I actually agree with those poor little regulars that have no option but to have you fight their corner for them (very commendable if truth be told).

 

^^ Technically speaking, it somewhat is the OP's fault. All one would have to do is search (probably) the first 3 pages of the forums to see one of these threads and share their thoughts about GwG in that thread as opposed to starting yet another thread
about the exact same feelings.
