Why do the apps I open not display on my screen?

Since you are playing Roblox on its Beta version we would like to know few more details about your issue:

1. May we ask if you are experiencing same issue when you launch other apps like Microsoft Edge and other apps?
   
2. Can we ask for the screenshot of the error message or codes you are having.
   
3. We appreciate you have provided all the steps you have been taking for this issue to be resolved.
   

It sounds like the games are running in the background and not displaying on your screen. One possible solution is to try pressing the Alt + Tab keys on your keyboard to switch between open windows and see if the game is running in the background.



Another solution is to try running the games in windowed mode. To do this, you can try pressing the Alt + Enter keys on your keyboard while the game is running. This should switch the game to windowed mode and allow you to see it on your screen.



If these solutions do not work, you may want to try contacting the game developers for further assistance to report this issue. Roblox Support.

what does a control panel do? i don’t recall opening such app so i don’t know why it would be open when i started the screen recording

In according with your answer maybe i didn't understand your question but i read your question again, and this is what propose to you based on my experience

To activate the mouse input with the wireless display app on the Xbox Series, you can try the following steps:

Connect your keyboard and mouse to the Xbox Series.

Connect your Samsung phone to the Xbox Series using the Wireless Display app.

Once the connection is established, press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide menu.

Select My games & apps, followed by See all.

Highlight the Apps tab, and select the option for Wireless Display.

Ensure the Wireless Display app is open and running on your Xbox Series.

Press the Xbox button again to return to the guide menu.

Select the gear icon to open the Settings menu.

Navigate to Devices & accessories, and select the mouse you want to use.
Select the option to “Set up mouse”.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process.

If the above steps do not work, you can try using a different app to share your display that supports mouse input

Its the wireless display app

The companion app only allows remote from a windows 10 pc not anything older and communications

First I fixed it... I missed a windows update 😩

Second, the wireless display allows you to send stuff to your xbox.<not what I asked for> I wanted to use my pc as a second screen. Which is why I use the companion app.
