    Why do my Xbox one and Xbox oneS keep trying to to access x1.c.lencr.org?


    I keep getting messages from my internet home network provider that it is blocking access to x1.c.lencr.org as malicious because the site is part of the consumer protection PUP category. Is there anything I can do to permanently block this site? Are my consoles infected with malware? If they are infected, what can I do?

    Hi. I started getting the same message and it pops up about every hour while my console is on. Did the factory reset solve the problem for you?

    My husband doesn't want to factory reset it. Idk why. But I have the same issue, every hour or so I get the notification. Luckily my internet provider keeps blocking it. If you do the reset and it works, can you please post? Maybe if he sees that it worked for someone else, he'll do it, lol. Good luck!

    We don't use the Internet on our Xboxes, so I don't know how this could have happened. My only guess is that it happened through online gaming. We already loaded edge and deleted all history, cashe and cookies and force closed it after, but we still keep getting the messages about trying to access this particular site. We'll try the reset next.

    You. An factory reset without losing your data however you would need to set up your home console again

    Just make sure you click don't erase my data when asked
