why do my multiplayer games shut down

i keep getting booted out of online multiplayer games, my connection is fine, i've reset my xbox, but still the games keep shutting down.

You can also try connecting your console to a different network like mobile hotspot to further isolate the issue.

So yesterday I asked why the hell is battlefield BC2 a free game when the multiplayer servers are shut down and instead of an answer my post get deleted for profanity? Maybe someone can answer it rather than suppressing my question?

do you know why the survers were shut down? because now its boring the multiplayer was the only thing people wanted to play on it since it only had 7 boreing singleplayer missions

you might not be able to play Xbox 360 games online that are on the backwards compatibly list because the multiplayer is shut down on most but not all but I think that dead space 3 is one of the titles where multiplayer is shut down.
I know that call of duity black ops one and two still support multiplayer to some degree. But not all game modes work.

This has been a rumor floating around the internet for a few years. No, not getting shut down as a service, however some games like GTA V multiplayer servers have been shut down.
