    Why do I see achievement text in French?


    Hi,

    So, I am originally from France and that's where I created my account, but I now live in Ireland. For years I have played all my games in English. My console is in English, my computer is in English, my phone is in English, and everything that I can set
    in my account is set to either English or Ireland.

    So why do I see some of my achievements in French for no apparent reason? I mean, my console's in English, I play this game in English, and my achievements pop up in French? Why????

    With most games and their achievements being localised like crap, please spare me the terrible translations and let me enjoy my games and achievements in English, please!

    Could you provide a bit more information for us? Are you seeing French achievements for all games or only for specific ones? If specific, which games? And are you seeing this on the Xbox One itself or on your smartphone or on a PC Xbox App?

    About the Achievement Languages on my Xbox 360 (Languages becoming French)

    its 2016 .

    xbox 360 and back. compat. games achievements are french .

    Region:TURKEY

    Langguage:Turkish

    but why they show up french?

    i think it must be english.

    there is nothing to do with console setting.

    i recover my profile too much and it seen french.

    i got the same issue my console , language , my account , etc Everything is in English but for some reason titanfall switch to french and desteny semes to do the same thing ! Also , i don't posses Diablo but on my feed activity i see the achievements my
    friend unlock and i see them in french . This is realy annoying , someone have find a solution ?

    Game localization

    The only thing I would do is to check and see if the game may support Russian by going to the Settings and change the language of the dashboard. By doing this, the game should revert to Russian text. Keep in mind that not every games will support Russian.
    Most games will support commonly English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Japanese.
