Xbox Live down - can't even play a game offline. Pathetic.

I thought this draconian issue was fixed pre-launch...I thought the [Mod Removed] at Microsoft figured out that ALWAYS ONLINE isn't necessarily always a good thing. Like right now...I understand XBL is down. That's fine.
[Mod Removed] happens.

But why can't I play my single player game offline and the dumb thing sync with the stupid system gets fixed?

ive been on XBL since Halo 2 was out i love xbox so why do they just [Mod removed]? "hey your account is about to expire want to renew?" when i cleck yes i just get [Mod removed] messages in the form of error
messages on your website and on the [Mod removed] console
[Mod removed] XBL i am a usually satisfied customer and when i need help you just give me the [Mod removed] runaround i tried all this week to renew but all i got WERE ERROR MESSAGES!

this is [Mod removed] straight up i have been dying for the battlefield update to come and now that my account is frozen or
[Mod removed] ever i cant play XBL for 3 days I MISS the EXPANSION release

It's getting harder and harder to stay with MS...

Azure was supposed to be the second coming...Live has more problems and only 2 or 3 games use it :S

 

Thinking about making a switch to Sony myself. Nothing ever works on this X box. So glitchy!

I have been wondering the same thing lately. The percentage of times I try to use my xbox only to find that XBL doesn't work is substantial... We're talking about an insane error rate.
