Why do I need to reset all my stuff?

i don't use DHCP at home on my network at all, i have all my stuff and all my 5 kids worth of stuff set static within a certain ip range. simple to do and the router does not need DHCP active to connect wirelessly.

But to make things simple for this user, best thing to do is factory reset the router as this fixes most of these wifi connection issues.

Thanks, I did do the factory reset and the console is up and running again. I do have to re-install everything but the data seems to be there for all my games and stuff, just need to sync with the almighty cloud. Thanks again KalawangBoy!

So i fixed it, i just had to do a reset on my xbox, its fine now and works and stuff, i still dont know why it happened though.

I been hacked big time, and now each time I try to play online (Call of duty4-Modern Warfare) I can't access a game because I need to be an private first level 1, soo what the heck!!!!! All I want to do is play online and have fun, not be hacked and can't
play? There is ways you can play online that I know of, all you need to do is go to friend invite and go to ppl that is online and join their session. I found out maybe away to get your stats reset and all that stuff. Go to twitter and look up @bancandy and/

This is all tech speak to me, I don't understand what DMZ is ior anything about port settings, all I know is that my NATs are supposedly open. Other than that I have no idea how to do any of this stuff, so I think I might just live with bad quality streams
rather than risk *** something up because I don't understand how to do this stuff. I haven't reset anything since I set up this Xbox years ago, so I don't know why it would need to be reset or changed now unless the Netflix app itself screwed up the settings.
I wish there were a more layman friendly way to handle this.
