Why do i need to buy twice

Well I've bitten the bullet and bought COD Ghosts for the 2nd time. This time for my for my Xbox one as its not backward compatible,. Cant help feeling ripped off that I need to pay for map packs again too. Anyone else had this problem......?

Do i have to buy gold twice?

I bought x box gold from the online store when it was on sale about two months ago, its a three month subscription and my manage subscriptions button in my xbox say its still good. But when i try to play online it asks me to buy a gold membership! i still
have one and its really pissing me off and i don't have the money to buy **** gold again whats going on?

Why do I have to pay twice?

When i had my 360 i baught all the zombie maps now that im on box1(with the same username) I have to rebuy all the maps? Has anyone else had this issue.

It´s normal because are different licenses and it is not a backward game.

If the game were a backward game, probably you might use the same map packs, but probably, not all the game has this feature.

Okay so on the Xbox it says that the ad ons are applied/installed but it doesn’t show up on my recents

First, please sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders and check if you can see the game order stated as "completed", once confirmed follow the steps below:

Go to "My games and apps" > Installed games > Highlight the game > Press the Menu button > Go to "manage games and add-ons" > Click the game icon.

Make sure that these packs are installed:

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Content Pack 1

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Content Pack 2

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Content Pack 3

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War - Content Pack 4

The disc indeed includes the multiplayer and zombie packs we just need to ensure that they are installed.
