Why do i keep getting disconnected from xbox 360 games on Xbox one?

Sorry to hear about the network performance. Let's check a few things to narrow this down. Does the issue persist when using both wired or wireless network connections on the console?



Run a Detailed Network Statistics test on the Xbox One console and please provide the following information.

• Download Speed
• Upload Speed
• Latency
• Packet Loss %
• Wireless Strength (if applicable)
• Modem Manufacturer
• Router Manufacturer (if being used) as well as the model number
• NAT Type

Let's then have you try to do a Network power cycle, to see if it helps.

• Start by powering off and unplugging your Modem, Router (if applicable) and Xbox One console.
  
• After 60 seconds of the devices being powered off, turn on the power to your Modem and then the Router (if applicable).
  
• Wait another 60 seconds for the network equipment to turn on and gain the proper signals from your ISP. Then turn on your Xbox One console.

I keep getting disconnected from Xbox live why

Why not disconnect your Xbox One HDMI cable from the Xbox One and plug it instead into your Xbox 360. If you get sound from your 360 you will know its not the HDMI cable or Receiver settings.

You router will not auto port forward, but that is more than likely not your problem.

You probably are having IP conflicts, there is more than one device on your network with the same IP (if your xbox is set to use a manually added IP) or you need to increase your IP scope.

Do this: search for your router's default admin password, punch in 192.168.1.1 into any LOCALLY connected computer's browser (brand doesn't matter), a username and password field will pop up, enter the default PW (unless changed) and NO username. Go to where
the router lists the total number of IPs allowed (usually 50) and increase the number.

The other option is to set the xbox at a dynamically added IP from inside the xbox dashboard and set that value at the highest number in your scope (as determined from the previous step).

It is possible if you have UPnP enabled but is not always true even if you do have it enabled. Try adding your Xbox 360's private IP address to the DMZ and opening ports "53, 80, 1863, 3074", TCP, "53, 88, 1863, 3074" UDP.
