Why do I have to wait 4 hours just to play Fortnite?

Do I have to pay to be able to become a priority? I've asked my brother if he has the same problems since he has paid for the game pass but he doesn't have to wait for that long. I get the since I'm not paying to have special access to all the games on Xbox cloud gaming that I'm going to have to wait a bit but that shouldn't mean I have to wait hours just to play a free game. I started using the cloud gaming back when it was still in beta development and even then it took a second to load and at most a few minutes. I know that is because there was not that many people that was on there and it was still not popular. I just find it ridiculous that in the span of a couple of months that wait time goes from a few seconds to a few hours.

yo i downloaded it and worked 1 time and now it wont work anymore but like around 9:00 pm or 11:00 pm the waiting time goes way down

Cloud gaming is just a reason for Xbox to scam more money. Buy games buy still can't play unless it's on cloud gaming. Whole thing is a scam

True because I normally have to wait 4 hours at like 3 pm but 10am like 12 mins if makes no sense
