Also why all of a sudden are my children receiving messages when logging into xbox saying they need an adult to verify account?? My children's accounts have been created years ago with no issues. I do not what to pay £0.50 per account to verify. The fact
that they are linked to my account and payments are made through my account via credit card should be enough. This only affects 2 of my 3 children's accounts though. Why not the third?

While I don't know why your accounts need to be verified all of a sudden, you should know that you do NOT pay £0.50 per account, but you pay £0.50 ONCE to verify YOUR account to be an adult account, and that it's not a kid that stole your
credit card to verify an adult account the kid created to be able to change their child accounts without your parental knowledge, as you would recognize a £0.50 charge on your credit card bill, that you haven't authorized.

After your account was verified to be an adult with your consent, you don't need to verify each and every child account you add. So the £0.50 are a one time payment, and these £0.50 do NOT go into the "Make Microsoft Richer"
funds, but are added as credit to your account, if I remember correctly.

I'm having the exact same issue as above. The credit card is showing when I sign into my kid's Microsoft Account, but it's not showing in on my child's Family account. Why? I don't want to remove the Ask To Buy. But I want to use the credit card and not this bizarre option to buy in $10 increments.

How do I get the credit card I added to my child's Microsoft Account to show up in their Family account? When I click the option to add the credit card in the Family page, it tells me to add it to the kid's Microsoft Account, which...I've already done.

(as a side note: Microsoft's Family account thing is ridiculously convoluted. Please hire some Google employees to fix this. Google Family is SO MUCH EASIER!)

Why was this user, charged in February, but my son's account just asked for the parental consent payment today? I paid it. It didn't feel right, but he was standing there with his two quarters saying, "no, I'll pay!" We already paid for crying out loud.

Live with my card, why didn't they count a credit card purchases? It's not right, and they ARE alone, no one is charging .50 per child to verify that you are an adult. If you are an adult to your first child, you are still an adult when you have another.
I'd call the whole company idiots... But they did just get me to pay a fee to use an already paid subscription. That's an impressive suckering.

Even if it was done on your sons Xbox, your nephew had to put it on the Xbox with his password. Then, his parents were the ones who gave him access to their credit card info by having it saved in their sons account. On top of all that, even if he did purchase
it - there is no benefit for him doing so as everything would be linked to his cousins account, not that Xbox.

In the end if I was in your position, I would be wondering why an adult gave credit card access to their child ...
