Why do I have to set up my network every time I turn the console on?

pretty much what the title says. I have to set up my network every time i turn the console on, the xbox never automatically connects to the network. wasn't sure whether to put this in console issues or this section, hope I picked the right one.

password box won't show up

Every time I try to set up my xbox one wireless network, the password box does not show up. I click on my network and the option for password does not show up, none of the buttons do anything and I cannot go back. I have to turn my xbox one off.

 

Screen Resolution not Saving on the Console

Hi All,

Every time I turn my console on, I have to manually set the resolution back to 1080p. Why is this happening?

I'm sorry to hear about this network issue, I would like to ask a few questions so we can help with getting this issue sorted out. Are you using a wired or wireless connection and are you receiving any error codes?

In order to make sure that we are not missing any steps to get this sorted, I would like you to try these steps

Please give the following steps a shot:

• Press and hold the power button on your console for 10 seconds.
• Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.
• Leave your console unplugged for five minutes and then plug in your console.
• Power on your console.
• Once you console boots up, check to see if you have to set up your network settings.

My xbox one does the same thing, it's the biggest pain!!! I've tried everything to fix it. If you figure it out please let me know. I got my xbox day one and worked fine, this issue started like 2.5 weeks ago
