why do i have to buy minecraft again?

Hello, today i download my minecraft windows 10 edition that i take from Mojang promotion and realize that i have to buy it. I playd in this account like a 3 years without problems. But today i have to buy the game again. i hope that something like a big
mistake. This is not a demo version or something. That was actually full game like a week ago. I get this game from my Mojang account because i had java version. So how can you help me?

Hello Kule, My name is Jesse. I'm an Independent Advisor and a member of the Microsoft community and I'd love to assist you today.

In the Minecraft Launcher go to View All Accounts in the drop-down under your icon, and add a Microsoft account. Put in the info you use to log into Dungeons. Now you have to switch between accounts to play Dungeons (Microsoft) or Minecraft Java (Mojang) but it's all saved in the launcher.

Because the console version will only work on the console. The game would need to support Play Anywhere in order to be able to play it on both the console and PC without having to repurchase it.

Where did you purchased Minecraft?
Using the Microsoft Store or the Minecraft.net website?

If it was via Microsoft store, are you able to see the purchase in your Microsoft account order history with status completed?

Once there, make sure to change the "3 months" filter and use instead "All available" next to "Ordered within"
Then start looking each item purchased with your account and see if you're able to find the game with order status "completed"

If you have more than one email please check the order history with each one

Please check your order history to see if the game is still on the list!

If it is, try to clear the Microsoft Store cache

Press Windows Key + R to launch Run.
Enter wsreset.exe and hit Enter.
Once the reset process finished, restart your PC and then check again!

If it isn't on that list, then you will have to contact the support through: Contact us | Xbox Support
